Sixth People's Hospital was founded in 1904 and became an affiliated hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2002. It is a large-scale comprehensive teaching hospital of Grade A and Grade A. The hospital has approved 1,826 beds, 1,956 open beds, and 46 clinical medical departments. The number of outpatient and emergency outpatient visits in the hospital in 2017 was 3,980,800, the number of discharged patients was 105,200, and various types of surgery were 116,800.
