Biography
Han Ting is Associate Dean of School of Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University; he is a professor, a doctoral tutor, and was selected into Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program (2013). He won the first prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award Award. Professor Han hosted major consulting sub-projects, key consulting project sub-projects, 973 sub-projects, major project sub-projects of National Social Science Foundation, general projects of National Social Science Foundation, general projects of Education Humanities and Social Sciences, Five-year planning topics of Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences, liberal arts and sciences cross-cutting topics and scientific research and innovation plan projects of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He undertook international cooperation projects such as Intel, Samsung, Nissan, Mazda, Hp, Yamaha, GE, Panasonic and other international cooperation projects, and undertook R&D and design topics such as COMAC, SAIC, Lenovo, medical robots, and collaborative robots. Professor Han's main research directions: design strategy and design planning, industrial design and experience design, interaction design and service design. He served as Director of industrial design teaching in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Education, Deputy Secretary-general of the China Innovation Design Industry Strategic Alliance, and Member of the management committee of the Shanghai Design Capital Promotion Center.
