Biography
Steve May-Russell is a leading Industrial Design and Innovation Consultant and the CEO of the renowned Smallfry, based in Coventry, England. Steve is a graduate in Industrial Design and Engineer- ing from Leicester De Montfort University. Following a condensed MBA at Warwick University Steve studied consumer marketing under renowned 1980’ s marketing guru Philip Kotler at the JL Kellogg Graduate Management School in Chicago.
Steve has represented the creative industries on the UK Trade & Investment’ s bi-lateral partnerships in the Far East and is regularly invited to speak to international audiences on Innovation and using Design to develop brands. Steve lectures to academic institutions, including Cranfield MBA students, Cambridge University, Coventry University and Loughborough University.
He is a well-respected and regular speaker at international conferences and is employed as an inno- vation coach and design mentor by many global high street brands working with senior managers to help invigorate and develop new and fresh product and service offerings. He has ran numerous Innova- tion Workshops across Multi-disciplinary teams and notable projects.
